In the 1950s, Georges Hubert, a skilled baker, conceived the idea of streamlining the supply chain for bakery and pastry professionals, leading to the creation of a company distributing essential ingredients like butter, eggs, and cheese. Passed down to his son, Bernard, in the 1970s, this ensured the company's longevity. Demonstrating innovation and adaptability, Bernard capitalized on technical advancements and societal changes to introduce a line of frozen, semi-finished, and finished products, giving birth to Coup de pates® in 1990.

The rapid integration of Coup de pates into the professional food industry earned it the title 'the artisans' friend,' reflecting the brand's commitment to quality. As a family-owned enterprise marked by its inventive spirit, the company, at fifty years old, joined the Arytza Group in 2004. Recognizing Coup de pates as a valuable asset, Arytza has supported its positioning, enabling its continued growth through the distribution of premium finished and semi-finished products.

Today, Coup de pates is distributed not only in France and Belgium but also in over 13 other global subsidiaries, boasting a workforce of more than 900 employees, including 280 sales representatives and telemarketers in mainland France. Alongside other brands under Aryzta France, such as La Carte d'Hubert®, and Le monde des arômes, Coup de pates remains committed to providing excellence in the food industry, catering to professionals in snacking, catering, bakers and beyond.
